Terrace Bay, July 29, 2024 The North of Superior Healthcare Group (NOSH) is incredibly proud to announce that the 10th annual CEO Challenge raised $4,960 for crucial healthcare initiatives and organizations within our communities. On June 18, 2024, NOSH CEO, Adam Brown, walked a remarkable 45km. Starting at Walker's Lake, Adam completed most streets of Schreiber and Terrace Bay before finishing the challenge. Afterward, a community BBQ and health fair were held to celebrate Adam's success.

For the past decade, the CEO Challenge has continually served as a vital fundraiser for NOSH, supporting essential healthcare programs and equipment such as new x-rays, ultrasounds, laboratory, and nursing equipment, in addition to contributing to other capital and building costs for our local healthcare system.

However, this year, NOSH is happy to share that ALL proceeds from the challenge have been donated to the North Shore Harvest Cupboard, ensuring support for critical food security programs in Schreiber, Terrace Bay, Rossport, and Pawgwasheeng Pays Plat First Nation.

NOSH would like to thank all of the volunteers, donors, and walkers who made this event possible. We would also like to thank the Township of Schreiber for their monetary donation, the Town of Terrace Bay for the use of the Michael King Hall, as well as Filane's Canadian Spring Water for supplying the water for the event.

The North Shore Family Health Team (NSFHT) and NOSH would also like to extend our gratitude to those who attended the health fair, including the vendors who came from near and far! Attendees can be seen on our Facebook and Instagram @northofsuperiorhealthcare.
